And while the ingredient list may seem a little lengthy for one of my recipes, it's really easy to assemble.
Here are the ingredients:
- 1/2 lb. ground beef (I used a whole lb. and it just made them extra meaty)
- 1 (16.3 oz.) can Pillsbury Grands Buttermilk biscuits
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/4 tsp. water
- 1 (14 oz.) jar pizza or spaghetti/tomato sauce
- 1 (4 oz.) container of crumbled feta cheese
- 2 heaping Tbsp. chopped black olives
- Several dashes of Worcestershire sauce
- Salt & Pepper
- Sesame Seeds
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
{Preheat oven to 375 degrees & spray two cookie sheets with non-stick cooking spray}
1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet. Then add tomato/pizza sauce, olives, Worcestershire, a pinch of salt & pepper, and feta cheese. Mix to combine.
2. Then take the biscuits and place 2 1/2 inches apart on the cookie sheets. Using your fingers gently press down on the center of the biscuit to form 3 1/2 inch rounds with a 1/4 inch rim around the outside. (Basically you want to form a mini pie crust for the filling to go in)
3. Combine the water & egg yolk in a small bowl and then using a pastry brush, brush the sides of the biscuits and then immediately sprinkle the edges with the sesame seeds.
3. Spoon the meat mixture into the center of each biscuit.

5. Bake for 12-17 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
I cut these into quarters for the kids and they ate them like mini pizzas. Serve it along with a green veggie and you have a great meal that no one will complain about! These would also make delicious finger food for a football party!
Whatever your plans are this weekend, I hope you have a fun time with friends and family and enjoy the beauty of the fall season. See y'all next week!

How could you not love these? I'm going to make them for the boys. However, I'm not sure if I'm going to tell them I got the recipe from you :) After I made your mushroom meatballs, all I heard was, "weren't those meatballs so good? Ms. Stacy made them." Eh-hem!!! No, your mother made them ;) HA HA!
