Lots of Halloween Fun!

We had a great time celebrating the last few days of October with all sorts of fun activities.
We started out Halloween morning with some spooky ghost french toast:
Then, Payton's school had their annual "Storybook Parade" which allows the students to dress up as a book character. Fortunately, there are numerous Pokemon books, so Payton was able to wear his Halloween costume.

His cute teacher, Miss Adams, also dressed up as the character from the book series "Pinkalicious."
The whole class had so much fun showing off their costumes:
Then, to continue the Halloween festivities, they had their "Fall Centers" which included chocolate dipped marshmallows:
And a scarecrow craft that Parker was more than willing to "help" out with:
And they did a cute lacing project that created a spider web (sorry, no pics of the final product... Parker was ready to go at that point).
Then after school - and our annual Halloween chili dinner - it was time to suit up in our costumes. I wore my usual cat costume (these ears and tail have been worn at least 4 years in a row now). Parker wore Payton's 1st Halloween costume, which was an alligator. And Brian... well... can you guess who he is???
 Yes, it's "Coach Ditka!"
Don't you love the look on Parker's face??? He's like, "Dada, what the heck is on your upper lip?"
Payton looked adorable in his Pokemon costume and he had fun showing off his baby brother all night.
Hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween!
I'm off to light my Spiced Cider candle, put up my Thanksgiving decorations and listen to some Christmas music!
