Pumpkin Crunch Cake {A Recipe for Fall}

If you have a hankering to bake the minute fall hits, then be sure to print out this recipe for the coming weeks! It's so easy and captures all the flavors of fall.

Here are the simple ingredients:
(Yes, that's TWO sticks of butter!)
And here are the directions (link to full recipe is at bottom of post):

1. Using a mixer, combine the pumpkin, sugar, eggs, milk, spice and salt.
Do you like my little helper? He actually used the mixer himself!
2. Pour mixture into a greased 9x13 pan.
3. Sprinkle dry cake mix on top of mixture and pat down gently.
Just look at that concentration!
4. Sprinkle entire cake with chopped pecans.
5. Drizzle entire cake with the two sticks of melted butter (I know it sounds like a lot, but this cake can feed a crowd!).
6. Bake in a preheated 350 oven for about an hour, or until the center is set.
7. Allow cake to cool, then serve with Cool Whip on top!
 This cake is the perfect mixture of sweet and salty, soft and crunchy, and totally melt in your mouth!

If you have a block party, a football party, or a classroom party this fall, bring this cake and people will think you slaved over it all day.
Here is the link to the printable recipe.
Enjoy!
