Anyhow, I wanted to get something special for Payton to wear this year to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (we just purchased our tickets over the weekend - yay!!!). So I was browsing Etsy and came upon iron-on decals. I've seen them before, but never paid much attention to them. When I saw that they were only $2-$5, that caught my eye!
Basically, you purchase the jpg and the artists creates the personalized image and then emails it to you. For $3, I thought, I have to try this!
So, I purchased a couple plain, black t-shirts ($5 for Parker's from Target & $3.50 for Payton's from Fruit of the Loom):
And a package of Avery Dark T-Shirt Transfers for about $15 (sounds expensive, but there's a LOT of paper in this packet - I probably won't ever have to purchase another pack).
And finally, I picked out and personalized the decal from a wonderful Etsy site called "tnmomof2" for just $2.50 each (no shipping because it's just emailed to you).
There are a TON of sites on Etsy that offer these iron-on decals, but I liked her selection the best, and she had the Disney font, which was what I wanted for our Mickey Party!
Put it all together and you get:
One personalized shirt for Payton:
And one personalized shirt for Parker:
Did I mention that they kinda match too?
I realize Payton probably won't wear this to school, but he'll wear it on our Disney trip and I'll definitely get some shots of the two of them wearing them at a pumpkin patch.
Happy Mama! :)
