Big Boy

So many of my friends who have more than 1 child have told me that Parker will likely "do things" much earlier than Payton did because he's trying to be like his big brother.

Well, he's not walking or talking early, but he certainly does think he's a big boy most of the time.

Like when he tries to copy Payton by sitting in the chair next to him.

I can almost hear Parker saying, "Hmm... okay, he's holding his toy like this, so if I just hold this old cell phone like he is, then maybe I'll be just like him!"

 Of course he can only sit for so long before he has to start messing with Payton.

 Fortunately, it doesn't look like Big Brother minded too much.

 And by default, whenever Payton has a friend over, Parker likes to join right in on the fun!

After the kids went swimming, I put a snack on the floor and Parker sat there like he was just another 7-year old! Probably hoping they wouldn't notice. :)

 So maybe it's not such a bad thing that he's not walking or talking yet.

I need to stop him from growing up so fast. :)
